I’m back! And I’ve got an exciting announcement:
My wife and I are opening an independent bookstore in Fayetteville, North Carolina!
The store is called Chapter House Books. We’ll be selling new, used, and remaindered books, with a little of something for everyone.
Right now, the plan is to open in July. We’ll post an announcement about our grand opening as soon as we finalize the date. If you’re in the area, come check us out! We’ll have a great selection of philosophy and critical theory, along with everything else you’d expect to find at your local bookstore.
It’s going to be awhile before we can set up our online store. In the meantime, you can support us by making Chapter House Books your preferred store on Bookshop.org and Libro.fm (for audiobooks).1
You can also follow us on Facebook and Instagram for book recommendations, updates on our grand opening, and information about upcoming events in Fayetteville.
Hope to see you downtown!
Libro.fm is an audiobook app like Audible, with two crucial differences. First, the audiobooks you purchase benefit independent bookstores around the country. Second, your audiobooks aren’t locked in your account. You can download them as audio files. This makes it easy to share books and listen when you don’t have a good internet connection. Best of all, you’ll still be able to access the books you purchased if you decide to cancel your Libro.fm account.
That's wonderful! We travel through North Carolina here and there from Virginia, and next time we're nearby we'll have to stop in. Congratulations!
